Princesses, zombies, witches, and pumpkins! These Halloween costumes have always been popular. But over the years, movie and TV characters have joined the top-costumes list.

Last year, top kids’ costumes included characters from movies such as Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This year, trick-or-treaters might see an Angry Bird or an Avenger.

So which costume will top the costume charts this year? One thing is for sure: Princesses probably won’t give up their throne without a fight. Princess costumes have reigned as most popular for 11 years straight.
